Requirements
- 6-8 years in DBA / Platform Engineering.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in PostgreSQL.
- Strong multi-cloud experience (at least two of AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Deep expertise in High Availability/Disaster Recovery and performance tuning.
- Strong automation skills including Terraform, Python, Shell, and CI/CD.
- Proficiency in Linux OS (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) and storage management.
- Experience with Kubernetes and containerized databases.
- Familiarity with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK).
- Understanding of database security and networking.
- Experience in SaaS/DBaaS environments.
Responsibilities
- Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of multi-cloud DBaaS platform.
- Drive operational standards and automation frameworks.
- Implement reliability engineering practices across distributed cloud environments.
- Manage database outages and incident response in 24x7 rotation.
- Perform database backups, disaster recovery planning, and performance tuning.
- Automate database deployment, patching, and scaling.
- Conduct root cause analysis after incidents.
- Collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Engineering teams.
