Requirements
- 3-5 years of experience in a loan processing role
- Experience handling loans from start to finish
- Experience processing conventional, FHA, and VA loans
- Proficiency with Encompass software
- Strong background in calculating income
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze documentation to move applications from setup to closing
- Contact borrowers and referral sources within 72 hours of receipt
- Review income, asset, credit, appraisal, title, and insurance documentation
- Monitor daily closing schedules and coordinate with title companies and loan officers
- Submit loans to underwriting in proper file order
- Clear all prior-to-closing conditions
- Advise borrowers of loan decisions and requirements
- Input and maintain accurate loan data in Encompass
