  • Demonstrated basebuilding experience.
  • Experience in campaign and policy creation, particularly at the national level.
  • Strong meeting facilitation skills.
  • Experience working in coalitions and alliances.
  • Ability to build relationships with a broad range of people.
  • Ability to work independently and meet competing deadlines.
  • Experience working with Popular Democracy affiliates.
  • Commitment to social, racial, and economic justice.
  • Understanding of challenges facing marginalized communities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain relationships with affiliates, partners, policymakers, and funders.
  • Identify, plan, and execute campaigns to advance the Fightback narrative.
  • Collaborate with Organizing and Communications teams to support affiliate campaigns.
  • Design and build complex campaigns with cogent messaging and theory of change.
  • Develop relationships with elected officials and their representatives.
  • Organize regular lobby days and press conferences.
  • Develop and implement organizing strategies for leadership development programs.
  • Provide strategic and tactical support for campaign events.
  • Lead and facilitate cohort meetings for targeted groups.
  • Drive a fundraising plan to meet objectives.
