- Significant experience in organizing and grassroots campaign development.
- Demonstrated basebuilding experience.
- Experience in campaign and policy creation, particularly at the national level.
- Strong meeting facilitation skills.
- Experience working in coalitions and alliances.
- Ability to build relationships with a broad range of people.
- Ability to work independently and meet competing deadlines.
- Experience working with Popular Democracy affiliates.
- Commitment to social, racial, and economic justice.
- Understanding of challenges facing marginalized communities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and sustain relationships with affiliates, partners, policymakers, and funders.
- Identify, plan, and execute campaigns to advance the Fightback narrative.
- Collaborate with Organizing and Communications teams to support affiliate campaigns.
- Design and build complex campaigns with cogent messaging and theory of change.
- Develop relationships with elected officials and their representatives.
- Organize regular lobby days and press conferences.
- Develop and implement organizing strategies for leadership development programs.
- Provide strategic and tactical support for campaign events.
- Lead and facilitate cohort meetings for targeted groups.
- Drive a fundraising plan to meet objectives.
