Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in backend engineering, DevOps, SRE, cloud infrastructure, or distributed systems roles.
- 1+ year of experience in technical leadership or engineering management.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
- Deep understanding of distributed systems concepts.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code.
- Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
- Experience with incident management practices.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to balance hands-on technical contribution with team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a scrum team of 4–6 engineers.
- Own planning and delivery processes including sprint planning and backlog prioritization.
- Oversee AWS-based infrastructure supporting high-throughput, low-latency systems.
- Drive initiatives to improve system reliability, observability, and deployment safety.
- Identify and execute opportunities to reduce cloud infrastructure costs.
- Guide architecture decisions for backend bidder systems.
- Lead incident response efforts and root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to align infrastructure strategy.
