Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited travel school preferred.
- Two years of leisure travel industry experience.
- Working knowledge of an automated airline reservation and ticketing system.
- Proficiency in utilizing online travel resources and booking engines.
- Ability to attend all mandatory training.
- Extensive knowledge of worldwide geography.
- Proficiency in PC usage, GDS, and other travel platforms.
- Advanced customer service, problem resolution, and sales skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve Members/non-Members through telephone, email, and web chat channels.
- Sell and service all domestic and international travel-related products.
- Book and counsel on travel needs including FIT.
- Operate and maintain familiarity with travel systems and partner booking sites.
- Maintain audit compliant files using DocuWare.
- Process incoming inquiries while identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Meet established minimum production and performance requirements.
- Participate in testing of new systems and procedures.
- Mentor other Travel Contact Center Associates.
