Requirements
- Deep experience in the investment management industry and common data domains (clients, portfolios, funds, holdings, trades).
- Expertise in translating business needs to conceptual, logical, and physical data model designs.
- Extensive experience in Agile Program management and Agile at Scale delivery models.
- Significant experience with integration technologies (NiFi, Python, Kafka, Databricks, Informatica).
- Familiarity with data modeling tools like Hackolade or ER-Win.
- Knowledge of Data Lakehouse, traditional RDBMS, and Data Warehouse architectures.
- Understanding of metadata management products like Collibra or Informatica EDC.
- Expertise in secure data service architecture, Microservices, and secure DevOps.
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure and Kubernetes/containerization.
- Proven track record of designing and communicating technology solutions traceable to requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement global investment data platform, including persistence, integration, and services layers.
- Form part of the Pod Leadership team to bring architectural vision to fruition using agile methodologies.
- Oversee software delivery pods and provide day-to-day oversight of development teams.
- Collaborate with architects, data analysts, and delivery leads to understand customer and technical requirements.
- Lead the data design track and communicate solutions aligned with Agile principles.
- Implement Data Governance Standards and establish information asset upkeep cadences.
- Manage the Continuous Improvement backlog for the Pod to improve time-to-market and quality.
- Support architectural designs from infrastructure setup through to production delivery.
