Requirements
- 4+ years of experience as a data analyst, data engineer, or similar role
- Experience in working with educational data and familiarity with K-12 schools
- Experience working with data visualization tools and dashboard design
- Advanced SQL skills
- Ability to translate complex data into digestible and actionable information
- Experience working independently on projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for education and improving educational outcomes
- Experience with Python (nice to have)
- Experience working with a K12 Student Information System such as Infinite Campus, PowerSchool, Skyward, or Aeries (nice to have)
Responsibilities
- Engage with school district leaders and educators to understand their data analytics needs
- Educate diverse stakeholders on dashboard usage and data interpretation
- Design and develop customized metrics and dashboards
- Utilize SQL for database management and queries
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve platform and data quality issues
- Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and Product to enhance the data platform
