Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Biotechnology, Clinical Research, or a related scientific discipline.
- 2–5 years of experience in clinical research, clinical trial operations, or biosample management.
- Working knowledge of ICH-GCP guidelines.
- Understanding of biospecimen collection, processing, storage, and shipment workflows.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple studies in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and clinical trial management/laboratory systems.
- Experience with sample reconciliation and vendor management.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee biospecimen management activities across clinical studies.
- Monitor sample collection, shipment, receipt, processing, storage, and transfer activities.
- Track sample inventories and reconcile records between sites and laboratories.
- Serve as primary liaison for central and specialty testing laboratories.
- Perform routine reconciliation of biosample data across EDC, IRT, and tracking systems.
- Support study startup activities and review laboratory manuals and protocols.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of biosample management processes and SOPs.
