Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Professional Services, Support, Technical Accounts Management, Engineering/SRE, or Project Management.
- 5+ years of industry experience in implementing, operating, or supporting scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed DBMS.
- Technical breadth in DBMS, OLAP, Cloud/SaaS platforms, distributed systems, Linux/Unix, Kubernetes, and big data.
- Experience leading and shipping large scope technical projects in collaboration with other engineers.
- Expertise with a public cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure) and IaaS offerings.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a team member on customer projects, focusing on design, architecture, integration, implementation, and documentation.
- Perform research, benchmarking, performance and functional testing, reference architectures, sizing, migration, integration, development, and tooling.
- Provide case-initiated consultative support to strategic users, customers, and prospects.
- Assist with implementation, onboarding, production launches, and Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- Provide architectural, technical, and migration assistance.
- Handle L1 to L3 support cases and communications when not actively assigned to customer projects.
- Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Sales to contribute to product roadmap and account plans.
- Develop content including documentation, Knowledge Base articles, reference architecture, and blogs.
- Assist with hiring and mentoring new team members.
- Deliver 24x7 support with on-call needs and up to 35% regional travel.
