Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Engineering, Environmental Science); MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience with demonstrated project success in utility-scale project development.
- Demonstrated ability to assess, quantify, and resolve project and contractual risk.
- Knowledge of electric markets within the Central region (MISO, SPP-East, ERCOT, SERC).
- Strong project management skills managing multiple large teams on concurrent projects.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Teams, Project, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Ability to travel 50% across the US.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the company’s lead representative to landowners, local officials, and community members.
- Navigate federal, state, and local permitting processes.
- Provide strategic guidance and analysis on market opportunities and Areas of Interest.
- Evaluate project viability using GIS tools and fatal flaw analyses.
- Plan, pursue, and negotiate land contracts.
- Organize environmental studies and coordinate surveys, titles, and curative work.
- Manage cross-functional project teams and external consultants.
- Track project status, risks, budgets, and schedules.
