Requirements
- University degree in Translation/Applied Languages or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience as translator and/or reviewer
- Native-level fluency in Hebrew
- Fluency in English (written and spoken)
- Experience as a translator in Mobile Apps, Search Engines, IT Consumer products, Entertainment, Marketing, Software UI, and Websites
- Excellent knowledge of terminology in IT consumer products, social media, and entertainment
- Thorough understanding of the localization process
- Good user experience with Windows and Office applications
- Proficiency in CAT tools (e.g., XTM, SDL Studio) and issue tracking/query management tools (e.g., JIRA)
- Ability to learn new localization tools quickly
Responsibilities
- Performing copy-edit tasks on assigned projects or accounts
- Performing on-demand translation tasks
- Performing lead support on assigned projects or accounts
- Managing and maintaining language materials including glossaries, Style Guides, and work instructions
- Managing project-related queries and resolving terminology issues
- Testing and qualifying new freelancers and vendors
- Developing and training internal linguists and freelancers
- Interacting with clients on linguistic matters
- Participating in the development of new working processes
- Meeting or exceeding productivity KPIs
