Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in compensation, HR analytics, consulting, finance, or a related analytical field, ideally within a fast-paced or technology-driven environment.
  • Strong expertise in compensation fundamentals including benchmarking, job architecture, pay structures, equity, and incentive design.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets with the ability to manage and analyze large datasets effectively; comfort with PowerPoint or Google Slides for executive-level presentations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends, interpret complex data, and translate insights into business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence presenting findings and influencing decisions at multiple levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, HR, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a strategic compensation advisor to HR and business leaders, primarily supporting engineering teams, providing guidance on market positioning, pay decisions, and reward strategy in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Support and execute annual compensation processes, including merit cycles, equity planning, incentive programs, and market analysis to ensure alignment with business performance and talent strategy.
  • Conduct and maintain market benchmarking activities, including survey participation, peer group management, and development of compensation structures such as job families, leveling, and salary bands.
  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify compensation trends, support budget planning, and ensure internal equity and external competitiveness across roles and regions.
  • Contribute to the design, implementation, and governance of compensation policies and programs, ensuring compliance, consistency, and scalability across the organization.
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve compensation tools, processes, and storytelling, translating data insights into clear recommendations for senior leadership.
