Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building and operating backend or full-stack systems in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with modern backend frameworks.
- Deep understanding of SQL and relational database design, with strong data modeling expertise.
- Experience designing distributed, asynchronous, and cloud-native systems at scale.
- Familiarity with vector or graph-based data systems used in search, retrieval, or knowledge-based applications.
- Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure, including containerization, orchestration, monitoring, and scaling practices.
- Proven ability to own systems end-to-end, from architecture through production operations.
- Strong debugging, observability, and incident management skills with a security-first mindset.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with product and research teams.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop reliable, versioned APIs that support core product functionality and external integrations.
- Architect and optimize data systems, including relational, vector, and graph-based models for managing interconnected contextual data.
- Build and scale distributed backend services using Python and asynchronous processing frameworks.
- Integrate AI workflows, combining retrieval and generation pipelines to enable context-aware intelligence across the platform.
- Ensure system reliability, security, and compliance through robust access control, monitoring, and fault-tolerant design.
- Operate production systems, including deployment, observability, incident response, and continuous performance optimization.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless, user-focused product experiences.
