Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 4+ years of experience in software testing within consulting or product development environments.
- Strong experience in both manual and automated testing, including test automation frameworks.
- Solid understanding of software testing processes, deliverables, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Working knowledge of SQL and database concepts for test validation and data verification.
- Experience working in Agile environments using tools such as JIRA and exposure to test management tools such as ALM.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills with experience working across distributed/global teams.
- Preferred experience with Oracle Utilities applications, particularly Customer Information System (CIS), Customer Care and Billing (CC&B), and Meter Data Management (MDM).
- Exposure to automation or development technologies such as JavaScript, C#, .NET, VB.NET, or PL/SQL is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate end-to-end testing activities, including functional, system integration, regression, and performance testing for enterprise applications.
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans, test cases, and traceability matrices to ensure complete coverage of business and technical requirements.
- Supervise testing teams and ensure alignment with project timelines, quality standards, and delivery expectations.
- Collaborate closely with clients, business users, and implementation teams to translate requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria into test strategies.
- Work with automation engineers to develop, maintain, and execute automated test suites for regression and system testing.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by coordinating with business stakeholders and ensuring readiness of test environments.
- Monitor, maintain, and report testing metrics while driving continuous improvements in product quality and testing efficiency.
