Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, clinical, medical, nursing, engineering, or related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience within the medical device, healthcare, medical affairs, health policy, or related industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in clinical research, outcomes research, evidence generation, or related scientific programs.
- Strong ability to critically evaluate, interpret, and communicate clinical evidence, outcomes research, and healthcare data.
- Demonstrated experience developing evidence strategies, publication plans, and scientific communication programs.
- Proven ability to collaborate across multiple functions and influence stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives.
- Excellent project management, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to translate complex scientific information into clear, impactful messages.
- Strong business acumen and experience working with healthcare professionals, researchers, and key opinion leaders.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 25% as required.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of evidence strategies that support business priorities, clinical adoption, and healthcare policy objectives.
- Design and oversee evidence-generation initiatives, including observational studies, registries, surveys, patient-reported outcome research, consensus projects, literature reviews, and publication programs.
- Analyze, interpret, and communicate clinical and real-world evidence to healthcare professionals, payors, government agencies, and internal stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to support evidence generation, clinical advocacy, educational initiatives, and guideline development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify research opportunities, prioritize medical affairs projects, and ensure successful execution of publication and dissemination strategies.
- Support interactions with regulatory bodies, healthcare agencies, and commercial payors through evidence summaries, presentations, and medical expertise.
- Monitor clinical trends, emerging research, and healthcare market developments to identify unmet needs and inform strategic decision-making.
- Contribute to advisory boards, scientific discussions, and innovation initiatives while ensuring adherence to ethical, regulatory, and compliance standards.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery of medical affairs programs and evidence-generation activities.
