Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Expertise in backend development with modern microservice architectures.
- Experience building and scaling distributed systems.
- Deep experience with APIs, integrations, and data pipelines.
- Strong SQL skills with relational and non-relational datastores.
- Experience delivering cloud-native systems with Infrastructure as Code.
- Proven track record of mentoring engineers and influencing technical direction.
- Proficiency with .NET Core or Node.js/NestJS/TypeScript.
- Experience with React and React Native.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with Temporal or similar workflow orchestration.
Responsibilities
- Set and communicate technical strategy across multiple engineering teams.
- Lead architectural direction for core platforms and services.
- Ensure reliable, high-quality data ingestion to data lake and warehouse.
- Own long-term scalability and resiliency of distributed microservices.
- Design and operate backend systems for authentication, lab integrations, and migrations.
- Lead Datadog monitoring, alert tuning, and maintenance of runbooks.
- Drive organization-wide best practices in CI/CD, SDLC, and Infrastructure as Code.
- Define and scale AI tooling across engineering workflows.
- Partner with Product and Executives on technical POCs and roadmap planning.
- Mentor engineers and lead onboarding for contractor and offshore teams.
