Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field
- Master’s degree in related field
- 6 years of experience in health care services, statistical analysis, or insurance industry economics or related field
- Highly proficient at querying a wide variety of internal and external data sources
- Performance excellence in computer languages, such as SQL, R, Python
- Ability to create a dynamic and visually engaging dashboard leveraging data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- High degree of business intelligence and understanding how to take a business case from inception to execution
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Performance excellence in championing initiatives and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Produce valuable provider network insights that drive improvements to the quality of all lines of business
- Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs
- Provide consultation to users and work on cross functional teams to address the division's issues
- Perform research and assist in analyzing data related to the division's strategic initiatives and broader research needs
- Interface between the business and divisional data teams to generate tools to be leveraged in building analysis and reports
- Work closely with customers to build relationships and meet business needs
- Analyze complex business problems and issues using data from internal and external sources
- Identify and interpret trends and patterns in datasets to locate influences
