Requirements
- Undergrad degree required; Masters or PhD preferred in an engineering discipline
- 3+ years of automotive, robotics, aerospace or related industry experience
- Experience with requirements-specifications and metrics
- Experience with executing complex vehicle test campaigns
- Knowledge of methods and standards such as ISO 26262, SOTIF (ISO 21448) and/or UL 4600
- Strong fundamentals in mathematics, engineering and physics
- Basic understanding of vehicle dynamics
- Excellent data analysis skills with modern tools such as Python or Matlab
- Experience with vehicle actuation (brakes, steering, propulsion)
Responsibilities
- Own the creation, documentation, alignment and verification of vehicle platform requirements
- Act as a central point of contact for platform requirements and communicate updates to stakeholders
- Drive safety culture through application of safety standards across Systems, Hardware, and Software teams
- Define improvements for simulator to verify vehicle platform aspects
- Own the writing and tracking of tests and test executions
- Evaluate and enhance vehicle platform capabilities and documentation
- Implement tools and methodologies to streamline and automate requirement processes
- Work with external partners on safe platform verification and validation
