Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent.
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience, including 3+ years specifically with ServiceNow.
- Proven experience supporting federal contracting environments (DoD, DHS, or civilian agencies).
- Hands-on experience delivering within Agile/Scrum teams.
- Deep familiarity with ServiceNow ITSM plus one additional module (ITOM, HRSD, SPM, ITAM, or custom).
- Proficiency with backlog management tools (Jira, ServiceNow Agile, or Azure DevOps).
- Skilled in process mapping tools (Visio, LucidChart).
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate client-facing workshops and structured discovery sessions to surface, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Convert mission-level needs into detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Perform gap assessments comparing existing legacy workflows against ServiceNow capabilities.
- Develop and document delivery processes and SOPs in partnership with Agile Coaches.
- Maintain backlog quality and ensure Definition of Ready standards.
- Mentor junior analysts and developers on federal domain context and ServiceNow best practices.
- Conduct peer reviews of functional designs and test scripts.
- Build end-to-end process maps, workflow diagrams, and data models.
- Partner with Solution Architects to validate technical soundness of functional requirements.
- Own UAT planning, execution, and documentation in accordance with federal standards.
