Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in STEM or related scientific areas.
- 9 years of aerospace experience.
- 5+ years' experience in satellite operation and SEIT on spacecraft.
- Experience with Systems Engineering and Test tools (DOORS, CCS5, JIRA).
- Familiarity with satellite operation and subsystem engineering (GNC, Power, Data Handling, Software).
- Knowledge of product and quality assurance principles.
- Experience with non-conformance documentation.
- Experience with object-oriented programming (C, C++) and scripting (TCL, Python).
- Ability to interpret engineering documentation (schematics, drawings, CAD, wire lists).
- Experience with the full Space mission lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Review satellite functional specifications and develop test plans to verify/validate requirements.
- Design and build automated testing systems, tooling, and ground support equipment (GSE).
- Execute and validate test documentation and equipment, and train others.
- Troubleshoot hardware/equipment issues and conduct data analysis.
- Write and review test reports, flags, and non-conformance documentation.
- Participate in cross-functional engineering planning and coordination.
- Support system architecture trade studies and requirements development.
- Revise satellite functional specifications for mission/customer needs.
- Generate system architecture data products including CONOPS, algorithm descriptions, and interface documents.
