Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Level security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
- 3+ years of experience with the ServiceNow platform
- Proven experience in federal contracting space (DoD, DHS, or Civilian agencies)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and at least one other major workflow (ITOM, HRSD, SPM, ITAM, Custom Apps)
- Experience with Jira, ServiceNow Agile, or Azure DevOps
- Proficiency in Visio, LucidChart, or similar tools
- ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Responsibilities
- Lead client workshops and focus groups to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Translate high-level business needs into comprehensive user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
- Conduct gap analysis between legacy processes and ServiceNow OOTB functionality.
- Collaborate to design and document new Agile processes and SOPs.
- Review user stories for accuracy and completeness against the Definition of Ready.
- Mentor junior developers and analysts on business context and ServiceNow best practices.
- Conduct peer reviews of functional designs and test scripts.
- Develop process maps, workflows, and data models.
- Advise government stakeholders on best practices and technical debt mitigation.
- Ensure designs adhere to Section 508 and FISMA/NIST security controls.
