Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Level security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
  • 3+ years of experience with the ServiceNow platform
  • Proven experience in federal contracting space (DoD, DHS, or Civilian agencies)
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environment
  • Deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and at least one other major workflow (ITOM, HRSD, SPM, ITAM, Custom Apps)
  • Experience with Jira, ServiceNow Agile, or Azure DevOps
  • Proficiency in Visio, LucidChart, or similar tools
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)

Responsibilities

  • Lead client workshops and focus groups to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate high-level business needs into comprehensive user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications.
  • Conduct gap analysis between legacy processes and ServiceNow OOTB functionality.
  • Collaborate to design and document new Agile processes and SOPs.
  • Review user stories for accuracy and completeness against the Definition of Ready.
  • Mentor junior developers and analysts on business context and ServiceNow best practices.
  • Conduct peer reviews of functional designs and test scripts.
  • Develop process maps, workflows, and data models.
  • Advise government stakeholders on best practices and technical debt mitigation.
  • Ensure designs adhere to Section 508 and FISMA/NIST security controls.
