Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product design with a focus on UI/UX for web and mobile applications
- Proven track record designing for SaaS products
- Portfolio showcasing elegant, data-driven solutions
- Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
- Deep understanding of technical constraints and opportunities
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining design systems and pattern libraries
- Strong analytical mindset and experience using sales, product, or client data
- Experience leading end-to-end design for products or major feature initiatives
- Expert knowledge of UI/UX best practices, accessibility standards, and user-centered design principles
- Proven ability to manage and mentor junior design talent
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Responsibilities
- Lead the design process for key product initiatives—from discovery, user research, and wireframing to high-fidelity mockups, prototyping, and detailed hand-off to engineers.
- Create, document, and maintain a comprehensive design system (from foundational elements to complex components).
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate concepts.
- Collaborate closely with the Product team, CTO, CEO, and Engineering leads to define the product roadmap and strategy.
- Establish design best practices, tools, and workflows within the product team.
- Take ownership of our public-facing Beam Impact website, built on Framer.
- Provide guidance and creative direction to a junior integrations designer.
- Maintain and evolve the Beam Impact brand identity.
- Create compelling marketing assets to drive growth, including sales decks, emails templates, case studies, social media content.
