Product Design Lead

Lead the design process for key product initiatives—from discovery, user research, and wireframing to high-fidelity mockups, prototyping, and detailed hand-off to engineers.
Create, document, and maintain a comprehensive design system (from foundational elements to complex components).
Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate concepts.

How You Will Work

You will join a remote-first team operating across all 50 US states, D.C., and Canada. You have the flexibility to work from anywhere, or utilize their New York City HQ in Hearst Tower. They emphasize collaboration, inclusivity, and continuous improvement through goal setting and feedback. Your contributions will directly fuel their mission to activate social good and drive positive change.

Engineering at Beam Impact

You will work with a robust tech stack designed for scale and impact. Their data platform processes over 7TB of data every 90 minutes using Apache Spark, Kubernetes on EKS, and Snowflake. For web applications, they build with NodeJS, TypeScript, NextJS, React, and PostgreSQL. Engineers solve interesting problems related to real-time data processing, seamless e-commerce integrations, and transparent impact reporting. You will craft scalable solutions that directly enable their mission.
