Requirements

  • Master’s degree required in a related field; doctorate preferred
  • 12+ years of experience in higher education assessment, accreditation, or academic program evaluation
  • Deep understanding of assessment theory, curriculum mapping, and student learning outcomes design
  • Experience with regional and programmatic accreditation standards and processes
  • Strong background in statistical analysis and use of assessment management systems
  • Proven ability to collaborate across faculty, academic leadership, and administrative teams
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills
  • Strong leadership mindset with the ability to influence, guide, and drive institutional improvement initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic leadership for academic assessment initiatives, ensuring effective measurement of student learning outcomes and program effectiveness
  • Serve as the primary liaison between academic units, faculty, and university governance and accreditation bodies
  • Oversee the development, implementation, and quality assurance of assessment tools, rubrics, surveys, and reporting systems
  • Lead program review processes, accreditation reporting, and self-study preparation in collaboration with academic leadership
  • Guide curriculum alignment efforts to ensure measurable learning outcomes and compliance with accreditation standards
  • Manage assessment data collection, analysis, and reporting to support continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support faculty development by delivering training and resources related to assessment practices and best practices
