Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience considered
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or analytic programming
- 3+ years of HEDIS or healthcare quality metrics experience required
- Strong proficiency in SQL, SAS, and/or other programming tools such as Alteryx
- Experience with Power BI and DAX preferred for data modeling and visualization
- Solid understanding of managed care, healthcare data, and quality reporting frameworks
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and statistical reasoning skills
- Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and executive-level reporting
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
- Experience working with IT teams and familiarity with healthcare data architecture preferred
Responsibilities
- Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to present complex healthcare quality data to stakeholders
- Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and variations impacting HEDIS and other quality measures
- Interpret technical specifications for quality reporting and ensure timely updates across systems and stakeholders
- Collaborate with business partners to gather requirements and deliver analytics for HEDIS, population health, pharmacy quality, and accreditation needs
- Provide technical guidance on SQL, SAS, DAX, and data visualization best practices
- Partner with IT teams to improve data structures, reporting systems, and analytics infrastructure
- Support ad hoc analytics requests and translate business questions into structured analytical outputs
- Contribute to cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving healthcare quality performance
