Requirements

  • 8+ years of hands-on Workday experience, including multiple full lifecycle implementations in enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience leading Workday integration and reporting workstreams, preferably in global organizations.
  • Strong expertise in Workday Studio, Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB), Core Connectors, and enterprise integration design.
  • Advanced knowledge of REST and SOAP web services, along with XML, XSLT, JSON, and data transformation methodologies.
  • Extensive experience building complex Workday reports, calculated fields, BIRT reports, and Prism Analytics solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Workday security architecture, including roles, domains, and business process security frameworks.
  • Active Workday certifications in areas such as Studio, Core Integration, Reporting, or related specializations are highly preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of Workday integrations across HCM, Financials, and third-party applications using Workday Studio, EIB, Core Connectors, and related technologies.
  • Establish integration standards, governance frameworks, documentation practices, and monitoring processes to ensure reliable and scalable system connectivity.
  • Oversee troubleshooting and resolution of integration issues, data transmission failures, and vendor-related technical challenges.
  • Drive reporting strategy by gathering business requirements, rationalizing reporting needs, and developing advanced reports including Matrix, Composite, Advanced, and BIRT reports.
  • Design and optimize analytics solutions using Workday Prism Analytics, including dashboards, data models, and reporting pipelines that support business decision-making.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, security, and compliance across reporting and integration environments.
  • Lead testing activities including unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing, and end-to-end validation processes.
  • Manage Workday release cycles, regression testing efforts, change control processes, and post-deployment support activities.
  • Mentor, develop, and guide Workday reporting and integration specialists while fostering technical excellence and knowledge sharing.
