Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 12+ years of experience in information security, systems administration, or related technical disciplines.
  • 8+ years of leadership or supervisory experience managing security teams or enterprise programs.
  • Strong expertise in information security frameworks, network security, operating systems, and system architecture.
  • Experience managing incident response, vulnerability management, and enterprise security operations.
  • Knowledge of authentication systems, endpoint protection, malware detection, and intrusion prevention technologies.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, regulated, and mission-critical environment.
  • CISSP certification preferred or equivalent security credentials strongly valued.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and develop high-performing technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of enterprise information system security programs, including policies, procedures, and governance frameworks.
  • Oversee security awareness, training, and education initiatives for system users, administrators, and organizational stakeholders.
  • Identify, assess, and document system vulnerabilities and local threat landscapes, ensuring proactive risk mitigation strategies.
  • Manage incident response processes, ensuring proper investigation, reporting, and remediation of security breaches or vulnerabilities.
  • Supervise periodic security self-inspections and ensure corrective actions are implemented and tracked effectively.
  • Oversee implementation of authentication mechanisms, access controls, and security features to protect systems and data integrity.
  • Ensure deployment of tools and controls for malware detection, intrusion prevention, and system monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain secure procedures for handling, transporting, storing, and disposing of sensitive or classified information and media.
  • Coordinate security efforts across facility-level and enterprise security programs to ensure alignment and compliance.
  • Lead and develop security teams, including hiring, training, performance management, and professional development.
  • Manage security program budgets, resource allocation, and operational planning in alignment with organizational priorities.
