Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in backend or software engineering roles
- Strong experience building scalable backend systems in distributed environments
- Solid knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API design
- Hands-on experience with Java (preferably Java 17) and frameworks such as Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Spring Data
- Strong understanding of databases such as MySQL and MongoDB, and experience with SQL optimization
- Experience with caching and messaging systems such as Redis and RabbitMQ
- Familiarity with containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS
- Strong knowledge of object-oriented design, system design, and software engineering best practices
- Experience with high-availability systems, performance tuning, and non-functional requirements such as reliability and maintainability
- Excellent communication skills in English
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain highly scalable backend microservices supporting millions of daily users
- Design and implement robust system logic for complex, high-traffic, and highly transactional applications
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions
- Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to architectural standards, best practices, and high code quality
- Support production systems by diagnosing and resolving incidents to ensure high availability and stability
- Contribute to team ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, demos, and retrospectives
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices and standards
- Work on performance optimization, system reliability, and scalability across distributed environments
