Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in data development and design patterns.
- 5+ years of experience designing large-scale operational or analytical data systems.
- 5+ years of experience in a lead role building complex data solutions.
- 5+ years of experience building solutions in Microsoft Azure.
- Proficiency with Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
- Basic understanding of network and data security architecture.
- Knowledge in at least two disciplines: data warehousing, data management, analytics, data science, APIs, data integration, cloud, servers/storage, or database management.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL applications on Big Data platforms.
- Demonstrated capability to build and mentor an inclusive team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide facilitation, analysis and design tasks for enterprise data and information architecture.
- Develop reusable standards, design patterns, guidelines, and configurations.
- Adhere to architectural principles and processes for new technology adoption.
- Advise product management on technology roadmaps and emerging tech.
- Partner with engineering and 3rd party vendors to deliver solutions.
- Lead architectural design reviews and migration planning.
- Analyze technology environments to detect deficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Mentor team members in data principles and practices.
- Manage the data catalog and promote reuse of data assets.
- Drive digital innovation using SQL, NoSQL, and Cloud-based data platforms.
