Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Logistics or related field.
- 5+ years of international trade experience.
- Broad knowledge of import trade compliance.
- Strong time management and prioritization skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively tackle complex issues across departments.
- Superior interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience presenting to clients and executives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Licensed Customs Broker preferred.
Responsibilities
- Handle internal and external customer compliance trade requests.
- Process documentation related to US imports.
- Perform harmonized tariff advisory classifications.
- File US Customs rulings and manage inquiries from US Customs.
- Analyze and assist with Section 301 exclusion submissions.
- Evaluate qualification for Free Trade Act and Country of Origin/Sourcing analysis.
- Execute and oversee Post Summary Corrections and Prior Disclosures.
- Conduct training, risk assessments, and internal audits.
- Administer and file duty drawback claims.
- Develop and support supply chain safety programs such as C-TPAT.
