Requirements
- 10–12+ years in product management, with significant time in enterprise systems, AI, or infrastructure.
- 3–5+ years in leadership roles.
- Experience owning complex, high-stakes systems (e.g., payments, risk, marketing, AI platforms).
- Track record of leading teams and shipping products at scale.
- Strong background in platform products, APIs, or developer ecosystems.
- Deep understanding of LLMs, prompt engineering, and evaluation frameworks.
- Deep understanding of agent architectures (planning, tool use, orchestration).
- Deep understanding of tradeoffs between model performance, latency, and cost.
- Ability to translate complex technical systems into customer value.
- Ability to engage credibly with engineers and researchers on system design.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product strategy for Zip's Agentic AI products.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities for smart AI-powered products in consumer and merchant experiences.
- Drive AI best practices and principles across the Product Management organization.
- Operate at both the system-level architecture and the product detail.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Risk, Design, Legal, and Marketing teams.
- Align stakeholders on roadmap priorities and trade-offs.
- Present strategy and results to executive leadership.
- Own the success of AI products through clear metrics.
