Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field.
- 2–3 years of professional experience in accounting, audit, finance operations, or a similar finance-related role.
- Strong affinity for large datasets, reconciliations, payment flows, and structured financial data.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Experience with Looker or similar BI/reporting tools.
- Experience with, or a strong motivation to develop further in, Python or similar automation approaches.
- Strong eye for detail, accurate work, and commitment to data quality.
- Analytical and hands-on problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile and improve Finance Operations processes around payment flows, PSP settlements, seller payouts, seller reporting, and transform them into accounting-ready transaction data.
- Further develop finance reporting based on payment and transaction data.
- Analyse discrepancies between PSP data, platform order data, seller reports, and accounting records, identify root causes, and help improve the underlying processes.
- Automate recurring finance tasks and improve manual workflows using Excel, Looker, Python, AI-supported workflows, or similar tools.
- Work together with internal teams such as Product, Seller Relations and Accounting, to translate new products and business requirements into scalable finance processes.
- Support sellers directly with finance-related questions around payouts, reports, transaction data, and reconciliations.
- Document processes and gradually take on more ownership as you grow into the role.
