Requirements
- 5 years of practical experience in cloud or application security.
- Hands-on experience securing application stacks in the cloud.
- Strong experience with AWS security services.
- Software development fundamentals and ability to read code.
- Experience integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
- Experience with container and Kubernetes security.
- Knowledge of IAM concepts and least-privilege design.
- Strong technical documentation skills.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and diplomacy skills.
- Familiarity with compliance standards like PCI DSS, GDPR, and SOC 2.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
Responsibilities
- Secure application stacks across full lifecycle from codebase to infrastructure.
- Embed security into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets, IaC scanning).
- Architect and maintain cloud-native security controls and encryption policies.
- Manage IAM policies and enforce least privilege access.
- Implement container and Kubernetes security tooling.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure for threats and triage alerts.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and drive remediation.
- Support incident response and forensics.
- Author security documentation, standards, and runbooks.
- Collaborate on audits and compliance initiatives including PCI Level 1.
