Requirements
- Proven experience driving significant productivity improvements for 50+ person development teams.
- Strong computer science and development fundamentals.
- Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with Go and Python.
- Experience with build, test, and deployment automation.
- Ability to work comfortably in a fast-paced, high-ownership startup environment.
- Strong system design and architectural thinking skills.
- Ability to contribute directly to complex backend feature development.
Responsibilities
- Own the build, test, and deployment processes for the entire engineering organization.
- Detangle build/test/deploy patterns in the monorepo to improve speed and separation of concerns.
- Investigate and implement tooling like turbo repo to optimize builds.
- Improve test coverage and visibility across data sources and destinations.
- Support and extend multi-region and multi-cloud backend infrastructure.
- Ensure operational excellence by catching issues before production and responding quickly to incidents.
- Write and deliver feature code to understand the current developer flow.
