Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in network engineering or related infrastructure roles
- Strong expertise in routing, switching, firewalls, DNS, VPNs, and enterprise network security
- Hands-on experience with Zero Trust architectures and tools such as Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA preferred)
- Proven experience with AWS networking, including VPC design and hybrid/cloud connectivity
- Solid understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
- Experience supporting distributed or global network environments with remote workforce connectivity
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST 800-171 and/or CMMC
- Familiarity with observability, incident response, and network performance optimization
- Relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE (preferred or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication, troubleshooting, and documentation skills with a collaborative mindset
Responsibilities
- Define and operate global network architecture, including routing, switching, DNS, VPN alternatives, and secure connectivity across corporate and production environments
- Lead Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) initiatives using modern security platforms such as Zscaler (ZIA, ZPA)
- Design and enforce network segmentation, access policies, and security controls aligned with compliance and operational requirements
- Support AWS networking architecture (including VPC design, routing, and hybrid connectivity) in collaboration with DevSecOps teams
- Implement Infrastructure as Code practices for network automation, configuration, and scalable deployments
- Design and maintain secure office, remote workforce, and distributed network access solutions
- Monitor, detect, and respond to network security incidents in coordination with security and engineering teams
- Contribute to observability, reliability, and performance improvements across global networking systems
- Document architecture, standards, and operational procedures while supporting compliance requirements such as NIST and CMMC
