Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on backend JVM architectures.
- Strong production experience in Java.
- Experience contributing to Kotlin codebases.
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Spring Batch.
- Solid fundamentals in REST API design.
- Practical experience building or consuming GraphQL APIs.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI coding assistants in professional development environments.
- Understanding of relational/NoSQL databases.
- Knowledge of asynchronous messaging layers like Kafka.
- Experience working in 100% remote Agile teams.
- Fluent in verbal and written English.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and optimize core backend systems for real-time queries and heavy data processing.
- Drive the resolution of complex distributed data challenges with high autonomy.
- Embed AI coding assistants into the development workflow to maximize velocity while maintaining human judgment.
- Participate in architectural discussions and technical grooming sessions.
- Perform rigorous code reviews to maintain high standards in Java and Kotlin.
- Design and maintain robust data pipelines and batch processing jobs.
