Requirements
- BS in Finance or Accounting
- 7-9+ years of experience in Accounting & Finance
- Advertising / Media agency experience is a must
- Understanding and application of GAAP Accounting practices
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets
- Experience with NetSuite
- Experience with time tracking tools and expense/reimbursement tools
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Slides
- Knowledge of client/procurement/vendor management platforms (e.g., Amazon Payee Central, Ariba, Tungsten)
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Responsibilities
- Own the agency's general ledger(s) and ensure the integrity of all financial records
- Manage accounts payable across all agency vendors and accounts receivable/billing schedules
- Lead the end-of-month close process with accuracy and efficiency
- Manage corporate and payroll taxes, 401(k) funding, and audit support
- Partner with agency leadership to build internal financial tools, dashboards, and models
- Support P&L management and financial statement presentation
- Continuously evaluate and improve finance tools, reporting systems, and internal policies
- Review client SOWs and staffing plans to ensure financial metrics and profit margins are upheld
- Support the SVP, Finance with headcount planning and workforce modeling
- Own client revenue accounting across the full billing lifecycle
