Requirements
- Extensive experience in data engineering or data architecture roles.
- Hands-on expertise with Python, advanced SQL, and modern data stack tooling.
- Strong background with orchestration frameworks such as Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect.
- Experience in data validation and quality systems.
- Proven experience working with large-scale cloud data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code principles and automation-first thinking.
- Experience designing scalable, multi-tenant data systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor engineers.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and evolution of next-generation data architecture, refactoring existing pipelines into scalable, efficient, and maintainable models.
- Build and automate data governance frameworks, ensuring strict environment isolation and secure data handling.
- Drive orchestration and compute optimization efforts by modernizing workflows.
- Design secure integration layers and backend-for-frontend patterns to ensure efficient data access.
- Implement advanced data observability and FinOps capabilities including cost attribution and data quality monitoring.
- Partner cross-functionally with engineering, DevOps, and product teams to align infrastructure with business needs.
