- Valid license/state experience with TX jurisdiction
- Demonstrated knowledge of workers compensation laws and regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with claims management software
Responsibilities
- Investigate, evaluate, negotiate, and settle workers compensation claims
- Take recorded statements from claimants and witnesses
- Issue lost wage payments accurately and on time
- Complete necessary state filings
- Handle claim denials in accordance with regulations
- Manage subrogation efforts
- Oversee litigation processes
- Communicate with CEOs, claimants, providers, and attorneys
