Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of experience in network engineering or enterprise infrastructure environments.
- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls.
- Strong understanding of Panorama for centralized management and policy deployment.
- Solid foundation in networking concepts including TCP/IP, routing, switching, NAT, and VPN technologies.
- Experience with firewall log analysis, traffic monitoring, and basic network troubleshooting.
- Understanding of network security principles, including inspection and filtering techniques such as TLS break and inspect.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced engineering environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day operational support for Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including both physical and virtual environments.
- Manage and support Panorama for centralized firewall administration.
- Configure, monitor, and maintain multi-tenant firewall environments.
- Troubleshoot network and security incidents.
- Perform routine maintenance including software upgrades, patching, and configuration backups.
- Analyze firewall logs and traffic patterns.
- Support firewall rule changes and tenant provisioning.
- Maintain accurate network documentation and change records.
- Participate in change management processes.
