Requirements
- 3+ years of professional experience in frontend development using React
- Strong hands-on experience with Convex, including queries, mutations, and real-time data architecture
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and working across frontend-backend boundaries
- Familiarity with state management tools (Redux, Zustand, Context API, or similar)
- Comfortable contributing to backend code when needed (fullstack capability)
- Strong experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) with a clear workflow perspective
- Product-oriented mindset with the ability to contribute ideas beyond execution
- Understanding of UI background processes and asynchronous data handling
- Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in small, agile teams
- Availability to start immediately and commit full-time to the project
Responsibilities
- Develop and ship a production-ready React frontend within tight delivery timelines
- Build and maintain features using React and Convex, leveraging real-time and reactive data architecture
- Integrate frontend components with backend APIs and Convex functions
- Collaborate with backend developers to define data contracts and API structures
- Translate product and UI/UX requirements into clean, maintainable interfaces
- Actively use AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate development workflows and improve output quality
- Identify UX gaps, propose improvements, and contribute to product and technical decisions
- Ensure responsive design, cross-browser compatibility, and application performance
- Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, and team ceremonies
- Write maintainable code with appropriate structure, testing, and documentation
