Requirements
- BS or advanced degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
- 8-12 years of professional software development experience
- Solid experience with a compiled language (Go, Java, C#, C++)
- Proficiency with PostgreSQL, schema design, and SQL tuning
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing scalable APIs
- Understanding of design patterns and testing best practices
- Strong understanding of GraphQL APIs, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Positive, team-first attitude and ability to navigate ambiguity
- Disciplined approach to software design and independent work
Responsibilities
- Focus on back-end architecture using Golang, GraphQL, Node, and SQL
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical leads on functional requirements
- Create technical design documentation and provide scope/risk estimates
- Apply software development best practices, design patterns, and testing automation
- Utilize AWS technologies including Lambda, DynamoDB, SQS, and RDS
- Perform triage, mitigation, and root-cause analysis for production issues
- Mentor and coach junior team members
- Work with leadership to translate technical vision into quarterly roadmaps
- Integrate AI tools to enhance software delivery speed and quality
