Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- 1-5 years of industry or private industry finance experience.
- Experience with relational databases.
- Knowledge of query tools and statistical software (e.g., Tableau, Sequal, VPA).
- Advanced knowledge of Excel (complex formulas, pivot tables, macros).
- Ability to manipulate large datasets.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Captures, analyzes, and validates data to support operational efficiency.
- Audits department information and produces analytical reports.
- Develops dashboards, spreadsheets, and databases using various software.
- Ensures integrity of the Charge Description Master (CDM) and charge capture process.
- Provides expertise on CPT codes, billing requirements, and reimbursement.
- Supports maintenance of the Decision Support System.
- Synthesizes and analyzes data to recommend solutions and illustrate trends.
- Collaborates on performance improvement activities and patient experience outcomes.
