Requirements
- Deep knowledge of technology policy (AI regulation, safety, ethics, competition, governance)
- 2-5 years of professional experience in tech policy, political campaigns, government, or advocacy
- Background in survey research, message testing, or polling methodology
- Strong understanding of the Democratic political ecosystem
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Comfort presenting to senior elected officials and leadership
- Ability to work independently as a self-starter
- Passionate about progressive politics
- Experience coordinating with cross-disciplinary teams
Responsibilities
- Track and analyze AI policy developments at federal, state, and international levels
- Develop policy briefs and strategic recommendations on AI regulation, safety, and privacy
- Monitor AI's impact on society and advise on Democratic responses
- Research strategies for combating AI-generated misinformation in elections
- Design survey research and message testing to evaluate public opinion on AI
- Draft messaging guides and strategic communications frameworks
- Support leadership team in client presentations and stakeholder briefings
- Represent the firm as a subject matter expert at conferences and events
- Collaborate with data science and engineering teams on research products
