Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Five or more years of related work experience.
  • Active Life, Accident and Health Producer License or ability to obtain.
  • Meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.
  • Advanced employee benefits expertise across small and large group markets.
  • Knowledge of multi-state benefits regulations and market practices.
  • Experience with benefits administration and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Employee Navigator, Paylocity, Rippling).
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Strong problem solving and time management skills.
  • Exceptional client-facing communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients for plan administration and billing.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Liaise between clients, carriers, and vendors for issue resolution.
  • Execute renewal decisions and manage enrollment updates.
  • Lead and project manage Open Enrollment processes.
  • Onboard new clients and manage Broker of Record transitions.
  • Ensure client compliance with benefit regulations.
  • Collaborate on workflow improvements and team processes.
  • Mentor Benefits Specialists and share best practices.
  • Develop knowledge articles for Employee Support Advocacy.
