Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five or more years of related work experience.
- Active Life, Accident and Health Producer License or ability to obtain.
- Meet Continuing Education requirements for license renewal.
- Advanced employee benefits expertise across small and large group markets.
- Knowledge of multi-state benefits regulations and market practices.
- Experience with benefits administration and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Employee Navigator, Paylocity, Rippling).
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Strong problem solving and time management skills.
- Exceptional client-facing communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact for clients for plan administration and billing.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Liaise between clients, carriers, and vendors for issue resolution.
- Execute renewal decisions and manage enrollment updates.
- Lead and project manage Open Enrollment processes.
- Onboard new clients and manage Broker of Record transitions.
- Ensure client compliance with benefit regulations.
- Collaborate on workflow improvements and team processes.
- Mentor Benefits Specialists and share best practices.
- Develop knowledge articles for Employee Support Advocacy.
