Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience in technical roles.
- Experience in Power, Energy, Renewables, or BESS.
- Knowledge of value proposition and technical fundamentals of energy storage development.
- Demonstrated success with technical-commercial contract negotiations.
- Experience reviewing engineering drawings and specifications.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Ability to travel domestically approximately 25% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Assess energy storage technologies and site layout options with respect to long-term project performance requirements.
- Analyze, assess, and present project technical risks and determination of de-risking solutions.
- Develop project capital and operational cost estimates and milestone schedules.
- Provide technical and project management support throughout the development cycle.
- Interface with third-party consultants and local project authorities.
- Support offtake, equipment procurement, and engineering and construction contracting activities.
