Requirements
- Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor’s Degree preferred)
- Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) multistate license required
- Ability to obtain Michigan and Illinois nursing licenses within 90 days of hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC
- Minimum of 3 years acute clinical nursing experience in ER, urgent care, or geriatric care
- 1 year virtual care experience highly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Fluency in English (Spanish/Creole preferred)
Responsibilities
- Connects with patients via phone or video call.
- Interviews patients to collect health history and records data.
- Provides health assessment and treatment solutions.
- Monitors blood oxygen, heart rate, respirations, blood pressure, and blood glucose.
- Identifies patient symptoms and conditions via video chat.
- Collaborates with on-call providers to support clinical outcomes.
- Documents interventions and progress toward outcomes.
- Enhances telehealth practices and professional nursing efficacy.
