- Minimum of 2 years of coding experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
- Current credentialing by AAPC or AHIMA.
- Working knowledge of insurance and third-party billing.
Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day operations and lead coding staff.
- Serve as a leadership point person for the department.
- Monitor staff productivity and ensure timely coding completion.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of coding and payer compliance.
- Provide education and feedback to staff as necessary.
