Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Active Arkansas Department of Education High School Science Teaching Certification
- Experience working with high school age group
- Experience supporting adults and children in technology use
- Experience teaching in an online or brick-and-mortar environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Ability to rapidly learn new technologies and teaching platforms
- Ability to clear required background check
- Ability to work independently (40+ hours per week)
Responsibilities
- Provide rich and engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences
- Commit to personalizing learning for all students
- Differentiate instruction based on student level of mastery
- Maintain grade book and ensure academic integrity
- Alert administrators to concerns about student performance
- Prepare students for high stakes standardized tests
- Establish and maintain rapport with families and learning coaches
- Support learning coaches with instructional issues and troubleshooting
- Travel for professional development and student testing
