Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in Python and Django framework.
- Experience designing and building APIs to connect disparate systems.
- Strong proficiency in software design principles and technical documentation.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and mentorship skills.
- Experience with payroll, HR tech, healthcare, or insurance systems.
- Experience working with a startup and/or B2B SaaS business.
Responsibilities
- Architect and deploy highly scalable, cloud-native systems utilizing Django to integrate with external HR-Tech systems.
- Proactively encourage collaboration across teams and functional units.
- Document technical proposals and designs, collaborating with peers to refine solutions.
- Drive product and engineering-led initiatives by deconstructing complex business challenges into manageable tasks.
- Identify bottlenecks, communicate tradeoffs, and provide technical recommendations.
- Engage in software design and peer code reviews.
- Provide support for production software developments and participate in on-call rotation.
